It was exactly 5 years ago I witnessed a miracle for the first time in my life and 7 times since then, but the first time is still the most special one.
2004. 09. 05. -that was the day I saw Madonna live first, in my favourite city in the world (it was also the first time I've been to Paris) and on the most brilliant tour she ever made. Re-invention is still the most special, most breathtaking, most creative, most memorable thing for me she ever made and it will always have a very special place in my heart.

I saw her previous concerts on DVDs, but I really had no idea what it would feel like when I will really see her in person, on stage in front of me, hearing her voice live, maybe catch her eyes. What it was was nothing short of magical. The show began with a very athmospheric intro, then I heard the first beats of my absolute favourite Madonna song and there she was on the stage with her head down when Vogue began and the moment she lifted her head and I saw her face, it was really a beginning for something new in my life. I fell in love with her even more than ever.


I was second row and could see everything, she was so close to me and while she sang Express Yourself, looked me into the eye, I was doing the thumbs up and had the biggest smile on my face and she smiled back and winked at me. It was the most perfect moment ever and I still have tears in my eyes when I recall that moment to be honest.

It was such a special show. She sang songs I would never have dreamed of seeing her performing live and in such exciting new versions too. While performing Don't Tell Me there was a beautiful picture on the screen behind her of Paris. It was like a dream.

She sang Deeper and Deeper in the most special way, it's so one of my absolute favourite live performances of her, this is a true artist at her best.


She sang Crazy For You and it was like a declaration of love to her fans, it was such a moving and intimate performance.


Then she ended the show with Holiday and all kinds of national flags were flashing on the screen behind her and I could also see the Hungarian national flag. The she said thank you good night and it was over. Except it wasn't, for me it was never really over it's still not over, because I will never forget the magic of that evening and can remember all of it perfectly.

*GLEE Is my newest love and obsession if I have to be honest. This show made me fall in love like nothing else has since I first saw House. It's the best thing happened to TV for a long time and gives me every kind of JOY. It's pure magic. ♥

*LOST: Season 5 was not my favourite season of Lost to say the very least but I'm still pretty much invested in this show. Mindfuck extraordinaire.

*SHIPS: Yes, I admit I'm a hardcore shipper of a few pairings, but c'mon it's fun. I love to talk about them, and I want to talk freely about them without being afraid I might offend anyone on my flist, so please check out my profile for more, if you hate one or two of my ships, my LJ wouldn't be your favourite place to be. This is my episodic picspam for gilmore_again, the very awesome Gilmore Girls rewatch community (which you should join like right now if you haven't yet and you're a fan of the show). I promised to picspam the hell out of one of my favourite season 2 episodes, The Road Trip To Harvard and as always, I finished it totally last minute. Sorry about that, hope you'll enjoy it anyway.

This is the last part of my Madonna picspam, this is only about her life performancies, from 1985 til 2008.
And this is the hardest part, because putting into words what happens when she's on stage is impossible. She's a born entertainer, she was definitely born to be who she is now. There's an increduible power coming from her and seeing her performing live is a true MAGIC. She could make you forget about eveything else, because that is the exact thing she enjoyes the most and you could just tell she's having the time of her life while performing and she's giving her best. I've seen her performing live 6 times. (* to te concerts I saw in the picspam) I can think of only one word to describe these concerts: INTENSE. But let the pics and her quotes speak, because I just fail.

"My concerts are always my escape. I get onstage and I just forget everything but the music and the audience. The minute the lights go out, I'm back to....well, reality."

Our decade and present day next. This is the Madonna most of you know the best I assume, and let me show you how diverse her art and style was and is in thse days as well. It's been 25 years since she started her career and still never fails at surpirising me. Now I know for sure that everything she will do in the future will be a total blast and she will kick my ass constantly. That's why that one of the most exciting things in the world is being a Madonna fan. Can't wait to see what comes next and I can be sure it will be jaw dropping.

So this second part of my Madonna picspam is about the nineties, and it starts with my favourite Madonna era EVER. 1990-91 was such an intense era with full of awesomeness, and though I absolutely adore all the many faces of the woman, this is the Madonna I love most. And this is also the decade when my favourite Madonna album, Ray Of Light was made, and also the decade which made me a hardcore fan, so for me this era very special and this part of the picspam is especially close to my heart.

It starts with Vogue, my favourite Madonna song to date, and the video which is a masterpiece by the amazing David Fincher, I can't tell how crazy I am about it. That's why I went a bit crazy with the pics, but you'll see. ;)

IT'S DONE. The biggest picspam I ever made, I've been working on it for weeks now, it's for picspammy's "My favourite person" challange and I wanted to create a complete picspam of Madonna which shows the many faces of this incredible woman and why I love her so much. It's more than 100 pics and some extra, so I chose to make it a 3 parter picspam, about the 3 decades of her career plus an extra part of her live performances, because Madonna on stage is something which needs its own category.

This woman really doesn't need any introduction and instead of trying to describe her awesomeness, I let her speak for herself, so everything you can read in the picspam are quotes and lyrics from her.

I just did my first friends cut ever. It was big and a bit painful, but it was needed because from now on I won't have as much time for LJ as I used to and I want to pay attention to all the entries on my flist and that would be impossible with such a huge flist. Now I think I have a reasonable number of friends.

Please do not take offense if I cut you, it's not that I don't want to communicate with you any more (and I hope we will communicate in the future via communities), and I'm glad we met via LJ. I just had to reduce my flist somehow, so I cut you because I didn't feel a very close connection or we didn't really have much in common. Hope you understand.

I'm also doing a huge community cut at the moment.

Tha thing is, the woman goes on tour in every 2 years and I couldn't miss the opportunity to see her live. Last week was special (BTW I'm totally writing my review about it!), it was only a promo show for the new album,,but this is THE BIG TOUR, awesome shows, huge arenas, many people, and all that jazz. And I got my tickets!!! 
YAAAAYY!!!!
I'm way too excited, I even fail at writing about it, but I don't care, because I'm GOING!!! YAY!
Guess which city I will attend.

This entry was inspired by lissie_pissie's post about photography. She said things I felt so true and huge, things which perfectly explained why I love photography so much.

I'be always been a huge fan of photo art. I could look at photographs for the rest of my life, and I always respected photographers like any other artists, painters, architects, etc. They deserve the same respect in my book. I also have many favourite photographers, like Steven Klein, LaChapelle, Rankin, Steven Meisel, Mario Testino, Jean-Baptiste Mondino, and of course Herb Ritts. And many more.

I think the key of photo art is WATCHING. Watching like no one else watches, seeING through thnings, lookING beyond things and see something in the Subject, that has always been there, only no one else noticed before. And then capture it. This will make more sense after you looked at the pictures I posted, I promise. :) The point is: I think the most important thing in being a photo artist is that you can see things and SHOW things that no one else couldn't. Just like writing begins with reading, photography begins with looking. Looking with care and watching closely. The magic is there, it's always there, no matter if yuo're looking at a tree or at a beautiful person, there's always something special in it, and you CAN capture it if you have the eyes to notice it.

And I couldn't agree more with Lissie in this: "I want to be there for that stuff, I want to immortalize that stuff." Exactly. It's like a DREAM really.

She also asked her flist to post any really gorgeous, oh my god, one-in-a-million, simple artistic BEAUTIFUL shots so I decided to make a whole big post abput this.

So this is my "see, that's why I love photography!" post. I made this to show my admiration to the art of photography. (And to those whom these amazing photos were taken.) I chose 40 of my favourite photographs ever and I encurage all of you to do the same if you love photography too. Seriously I want to see your photo favourites! I mean it.

Here are mine. Most of them are black and white, because I have a huge thing for b&w photography. It brings out the contrasts of the subject better.

I've just watched the most intense hour of television like...ever. Why didn't anyone tell me that Dead Like Me is so amazing?
I'm in an awe.
I couldn't even find the words, this show was the weirdest thing I've ever watched and yet so insanely brilliant and...stunning. Perfection. The whole concept is wow, and all the characters amazing, there's really absurd humour, great conversations and even tears. Que Sera Sera playing during the last scene? Wow. Just wow.
And how amazing is the leading actress? Sorry, I didn't know her before, but she's just wonderful. I liked all the characters, the young guy is totally cute, there's even Rebecca Gayheart in this (I love her), the mom is awesome too, but the leading actress>everyone.
I'll be so hooked on this show.

This is my first Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows drawing. I say first, because I plan to do more, I've got a few ideas of which scenes I want to draw, but this was the first which I really really wanted to do.
Not because it's such an awesome happy moment, on the contrary in fact, but I realized that I tend to draw sad moments more likely.
This for example broke my heart.
I know, I haven't talked much about the book here on my LJ, but I really, really loved how it handled strong emotions like love, despair and well...loss. This one was maybe the most desperate moment in the book, where it seemed that everything was falling apart and was very hard to see hope.
So I chosed this moment for my first DH fanart.

"She was impeded by her own Shield Charm; by the time she had removed it, he had already stormed into the night. Harry stood quite still and silent, listening to her sobbing and calling Ron's name amongst the trees.
After a few minutes she returned, her sopping hair plastered to her face.
'He's g-g-gone! Disapparated!'
She threw herself into a chair, curled up and started to cry."
